About me

I'm an Amsterdam-based design leader who has been building design teams for the last 8+ years. I currently lead the UX team in Booking.com's FinTech Business unit, and bring with me a diverse set of work experience spanning several different industries. I have been working in tech since 2011, and bring a diverse set of skills and experience. I have worked with global enterprises and early stage start-ups alike. I have experience working in fashion e-commerce, omni-channel retail, online travel, b2b customer relationship management, performance marketing and (most recently)FinTech.

At my core, I am a problem solver; this is what drove me towards engineering in my early studies. Early in my career at Adobe, I was introduced to the concept of experience design and it instantly became my calling. As a UXer I solved user problems, and now as a design leader I solve organisational and professional problems.
